Where the gifts
come from.
Real gifts from real places. No Temu. No junk. No drop-shipped apology clutter.
Every gift Gifter sends is selected by a real person from sources that make the object feel specific, memorable, and worth opening. We source from homemade local artisans, small-batch makers, antique shops, vintage finds, upcycled goods, useful gadgets, home goods, and strange little objects with actual character.
We do not buy from Temu, Wish, or ultra-cheap marketplace warehouses. The goal is not to send the cheapest possible object. The goal is to send something that feels like a story.
Things with a thumbprint.
If a real person made it, found it, restored it, or quietly obsessed over it — it's on the table.
The estate sale find
that someone's grandmother actually owned
The local potter
whose mugs have a thumbprint in the handle
The small-batch chocolate
made by two people in a Brooklyn kitchen
The vintage hardback
with a 1962 inscription still inside
The upcycled denim tote
stitched from a pair of someone's old Levi's
The weird little gadget
you didn't know existed but now can't unsee
The handmade ceramic
with a glaze that doesn't repeat
The object with a story
you'll retell at dinner
The useful oddity
specific enough to feel chosen
The handwritten card
on paper that has a texture
Things that look like landfill.
We will not send a gift you'd be embarrassed to have your name on. Full stop.

The cheapest gift is the one that gets thrown out the same week. We don't send those.
